M81 Patch

$9.99

The M81 pattern is prolific and highly demanded despite introduction to the United States armed forces over 40 years ago. Even after being officially (USA) replaced by digital camouflage patterns in the mid-2000s, the woodland tricolor design was re-worn by United States Special Operations Forces in earlier years of their counter terrorism operations across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. MARSOC operators, Green Berets, and other special operations personnel recycled or modified M81 fatigues to blend with their partner forces and inherently distinguish themselves from conventional counterparts. Companies like Beyond and Crye Precision also developed newer cuts of uniforms in the M81 pattern that were seen on special operators accompanying the Somali Danab or raising the Afghan Kandaks. Only recently has the M81 pattern been replaced with Multicam by Special Operations Command components. The M81 pattern painted the modernization of the United States armed forces then returned to become an identifier of rugged warfighters and newly formed Marine operators in the Global War on Terror.

Stratagem Branch in collaboration with Cedar Corps present the imagery of our own hands sewing our own glove. The special backgrounds in this collaboration are cut from authentic military uniform fabric rolls- no two patches are exactly the same. Product is approximately 4x3" and backed with hook velcro.
