HALO PACK
Warning: The HALO PACK is not an officially rated life saving device. The HALO PACK is not a recognized safety harness. The HALO PACK is not intended for rappelling or climbing. Be cautious of snag hazards and other dangerous conditions when the HALO PACK is worn or deployed. You are responsible for the security of your own halo. After any deployment inspect the webbing and discontinue use of the HALO PACK if the following is found: 1. Any material that is stretched, torn, or presents other defects 2. Missing stitches or loose stitching.
Second Warning: We recommend to not weave the halo pack when worn during practice recoveries or training events. The device will inherently remove rearward belt loops from most trousers under load.
The HALO PACK provides rescuers of a downed advisor a "halo" or tall length of 4088 webbing that is hard sewn to a sleeve. The sleeve is designed to integrate common 1.5-1.75" trouser belts into a drag recovery system and should be normally worn at 6 o'clock. The pack itself is light and concealable.
The halo is deployed by removing the cord lock, separating the elastic cord, and retrieving the halo. The halo is a 3 yard segment of 1.75" 4088 type 1 webbing that is hard sewn into the device with a 6" long stitch pattern to easily pull the largest professional and his gear.
